Mk2.5 modified headlights; seen these?
Discussion
I saw these today on this (lovely!) Euphonic and wondered if anyone had seen these before, here's a couple of crappy pics (sorry, it was pissing it down!)-

I thought they looked quite cool, although I'm not sure whether they would suit my dark blue car.
Oh and those Euphonic wheels...
ETA Sorry, Thumbsnap appears to have spazzified my first pic, it was orientated the correct way!

There's not really a whole lot to it. you do have to bake them. about 15 min. at 200 degrees. To get them out of the car, take out the two obvious bolts and pull the headlight straight forward. There is a pretty strong push-in clip that you will feel release, then it's just a matter of wrestling them out of their holes. This can take a while. be patient. Just to be safe, I removed all the extra parts (bulbs, little rubber elbows, etc) before putting them in the oven. after baking them, you have to pry the lens off. The clear part is held to the black housing with rediculously strong goop that softens up with heat. Even with the heat, it still takes a bit of muscle to pry them apart. go gentle with any tools. it is plastic. The silver part that you want to paint is attached to the clear lens with a couple screws. take it off, paint it, reassemble. press the lens back onto the housing as well as you can and stick it back in the oven. after 10-15 min. take it out and push it back together. I've done it twice this way with no problems. but as they say... your mileage may vary.

He spotted your car first and said it looked cool (he has a blue Mk1 with a noisy exhaust and black wheels) so I kept an eye out for it.
Do you work at the marina?
