2004 E320 petrol estate advice
Discussion
For what it's worth I have a Feb 2005 E500 estate on 95k miles and it feels bombproof. It cost me c £14k. 350's of the same era about the same. Saloon a fair bit cheaper (far more common). Mileage doesn't affect the price hugely - SH, spec and colour have more effect.
The very earliest 211's had Valeo radiators - make sure this one doesn't as they can fail and send coolant into the transmission and lunch. Or budget to replace the rad as soon as you get it.
You want to see a fully stamped SH - these are complex cars and you want one that has been looked after.
Colour in important for resale as is COMAND.
I've heard of one rusting round the rear arches (common failure on 210's) so have a poke (crap trapped inside the arches starts this off).

....so at a guess if it's a saloon, good spec, colour and history.....£10-11k? You're in a fairly good haggling position as people normally either chase after wood burners or V8's. I've seen 320 petrols sitting in the classifieds for a long time.
If it's an estate you need to add £1000-£1500.
Note these are GUESSES not based on any study of the market.
