My tailgate won't stay up?

Mine is the same!
I think the replacement gas struts are on Ebay for like £40, but it's the labour and the job itself that's intensive. The roof lining will need to come out for access to the screws holding the current knackered ones in place and I think I've heard they're bit of a pain to remove and re-fit. I haven't gone ahead with my repair just yet, but will be wanting to do so soon. Even toyed with the idea of upgrading to the power raise/lower option, but it's far too pricey for me !
Cheers, Dennis!
