MK2/3 Headlight recess and indicator surround color
Discussion
Pre Jan'06 cars were black, afterwards they were meant to be body colour (although I have seen one exception). I prefer body colour on mine (Red Glow), but I think it may also depend upon the colour of the car. Grey cars looked good with black for example. Also applies to rear light surround.
So it's also a way of dating a cars build date.

The car is red with an all black interior (althiugh just priced red carpet to brighten it up)and Two tone anthracite/black alloys
i was thinking black tail lights match the carbon cans and rear window from the side view and interior view but not sure about the fog/reverse light surround alloy finish and chrome can ends.
The front thaughts
were black lights and indicator surrounds and carbon or black splitters
Fit a chrone ring inside the light recess to match the silver indicator surrounds leave splitters color coded.
The firm fravorate looks like Color coded lights, but do you think this leaves the indicator surrounds looking lonley in the alloy finish? would they suit color coding or blacking?
Just seen your silver color coded lights they look real well,
unfortunatley Cant quite see the red glow from the picture angle.

Thanks glow worm, the color coding makes the headlights and chrome rim stand out a lot, so seam to match the indicators and there surround,
id like to get away from the black boarder around the lens but have wrecked half a few lenses trying to paint them so i will just settle for black lens boarder.
The red glow dose tend to change color a lot from that pinky tinge to a lot darker red.
