There's a photo of the car on the front page of the Press & Journal and the article mentions that the couple were in their 20's.

very sad indeed. Obviously hard to tell from photo, but the car looks less damaged than I would have thought to produce such a tragic result.

At the risk of this turning into a bit of a goulish thread it looks to me like that car's rolled as the windscreen is either missing or flattened.

Total agree, its a Griff and looks like its rolled from the angle of the A-posts.

RWD performance cars like these (with no traction control) need to be treated with the upmost respect in poor weather conditions, spirited drives are out of the question. Better keeping in the garage (my Griff is) and do some fettling for better days in the summer.
