HTTPS - Shop

Hi,

I was going to buy something at the shop, however, the registration page is plain HTTP, and not secure HTTPS. This means my email address, password and address would be sent in clear text. You dont want to run the whole site over HTTPS (will be slow), but switching to HTTPS for these pages will improve secuirty.

Hi Paul, The shop is run by an external company who maintain the website and process the orders. Thus the practices they use on their website are only things we can recommend and not something we have direct control over.

Obviously address details are sensitive, but not overly concerning in my opinion, though if you do have concerns then at the moment I am sorry that there isn't much from our end we can do.

Any payments made on the site are PCI/DSS compliant, fully secure and use a reputable banking website for handling it.

I will pass on your concerns to the third party.
