Looking for a change from my Fiat Coupe 20v Turbo which is for sale
I am hoping to find a 4 seater car that can do 0-60 in 5 seconds, has 4 seats, and costs £5k.
Any ideas?

Ideas? Help maybe???? Seriously what a silly requirement. I am hoping to find a 4 seater car that can do 0-60 in 5 seconds, has 4 seats, and costs £5k.
Any ideas?

E.g a 208bhp Imprza T2000 has a cracking 0-60mph time due to being AWD. Yet in reality many fwd cars will be just as quick or faster 20-80mph but slower off the line due to way less grip and traction.
So I guess my meaning is. How important is that single stat or do you have any other idea on how you want to rate performance?
Also what do you mean by 4 seats. Is another 2+2 ok or are you meaning a proper 4 seater or even 4 door. And as you are likely looking at larger fast cars, how do running costs stack up?

Sorry not meaning offense. But 0-60mph, esp at this level of performance is one of the most pointless and least meaningful stats and metrics you could possible use.

Ok, I agree the 0-60 time isn't the most important stat, but it is normally a good indication of overall performance, and is usually easier to get hold of than the 20-80 or other such times.E.g a 208bhp Imprza T2000 has a cracking 0-60mph time due to being AWD. I currently have a Fiat Coupe, which I guess would be considered a 2+2, and that is fine as I only rarely need to use the rear seats. However I did try a TT, and found the rear seats in that too small. 2 doors are plenty, and running costs, or at least mpg is not really a consideration as my mileage is very low (5k a year).
