Sorry to do it, it's another what car
Discussion
I keep coming back to the same predicament every couple of months and j keep putting it off.
Problem is, I wanna move out of mg parents place and stand on my own two feet. To get a mortgage I need to finish my loan, blah blah blah.
Unfortunately the loan is on my beloved r26, which j really really dont wanna sell. Besides selling myself or moving out into my car I dont see a viable alternative.
With the remaining money after settling the loan I only wanna spend a max of 3k on a new motor.
I keep contemplating an mx5 but am concerned that 3k may only go as far as a ropey one. Then I think about an old school fiesta zetec-s or Saxo vts. Completely different cars I know.
What it comes down to is I have a max 3k budget and no real direction of what to get that's gonna be a good motor for a goon and cheP enough to make it worth chopping in mg current pride and joy.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

You can get a very good MX5 for 3k. You can get a perfectly respectable one for half that.
I gotta be honest, I've only really looked in the classifieds. They all seem to be a big over that. I've gotta put fresh tyres on mine first, so have about 5/6 months to play with
