I know...it's a bit late, but I've been busy/idle!

Has anyone replaced an up & over garage door with a superior insulated version that will not radiate the cold? I'm keen to hear from satisfied buyers!

I freeze in anticipation here on the Wilts/Hants border in my modern integral house...

Sorry, no idea but, would check to see if there is sufficient/any insulation between the ceiling and floor above garage first.

Thanks, metal garage door exteriors absorbe the cold & radiate inward...AND
there are a multitude of insulated garage doors on the market designed to combat this problem...some will be better than others...that's why I seek comments from satisfied buyers.

We have carpet tiles on the back of the door, work great and easy to change/cut to make fit if they get wet/dirty etc.

You can usually pikey enough from a skip at on office renovation!

Considering you cut it out of the lounge floor I'm not surprised! It does blow around a bit in the windy weather. Other than that it looks luuuurvely.

If the 'absorb cold' then they must make the room warmer. How much do you want for them?

I can then channel the collected cold into my fridge!

How about just linig it with Celotex or Kingspan insulating board?

Piece of piss to do and a builders merchant will deliver you a few sheets without deliv charge. Cuts with a handsaw, gripfill it on, job done.
