1 minute of a couple dancing, and then 3 seconds showing a 'still' of the car??

What the hell is that all about?

It's designed to make people post in forums saying "What the hell is that all about?".

Worked well, eh?

Indeed. The advert is a resounding success.

I know NOTHING about the car that I didn't know already, and it has had zero effect on my desire to buy one (it remains at zero).

It wasn't until the 4th or 5th time that I saw the advert that I remembered which car it was actually advertising.

Well done advert people.

They've always done this kind of thing though.

Years ago they ran a series of newspaper ads which pitched Polo against Fiesta but they dropped themwhen people kept writing in and asking for details on their Polo Fiesta range.

It's an advert for a Polo? I thought it was an advert for mens fragrances or something!

Just shows you how wide of the mark ad agencies are in terms of getting their clients' message across.

What a total crock of complete and utter grade-A bks.....

"We hardened up his hair line, to make it look like it's greased back, sharpened up his eyebrows......we gave him tattoos to make it look like he has history"

"Cobwebs is more of being in a trap....which pertains to like prison?"

"One challenge with this was finding footwear...."

"In between takes we had to use a wire brush to clean the soles"

Well that's it then. I'm off to buy a new Polo.
And people get paid for this you say?

(And the girl has a pokey-out chin)
