A few of us over on MX5Nutz have gotten together and are hoping to get a regular meet started up on the 1st Sunday of each month.

The first meet kicks off at 9.00am on Sunday 5th December for coffee & perhaps breakfast along with the usual MX5/Roadster chit-chat at Costa Coffee (Northop Hall) westbound on the A55 (CH7 6HB) near Chester.

Our aim is to meet socially on a regular basis (1st Sunday) & give everyone local to the area a chance to put names to faces & show off their pride & joy........ Adjoining Costa is Subway, OK Diner & McDonalds - there's also a Shell petrol station for anyone requiring fuel.

This will initially be a static meet, but we will be arranging drive-outs around N.Wales in the warmer months.

So, that's Costa Coffee on the A55 (Northop Hall) CH7 6HB on Sunday 5th December @ 9.00am

Glad to hear you can make it, there are quite a few members on Nutz going, so should be a fair turnout smile.

What's the latest on this? At this point, with the snow, I'll have to abstain as I'd rather not get stranded in Wales!

The meet is still on for this Sunday mate. We've gotten off really lightly with the weather here in the N.Wales & Cheshire area, and all the roads are clear. They've given 6 degrees for Sunday, so roof down time methinks hehe

Would be good if any local members could make it along for a brew & a chat. If you can then I'll see you there, if not then I'll maybe catch you at the next one. This meet is gonna be a monthly event after all wink

Cool, I'll definitely be a regular in the summer months, just past experience has taught me not to go messing about with the car in this kind of weather!

Well it was quite a good turnout for the first meet. We had 12 owners turn up in total, with a good cross section of Mk1's, Mk2's & a Mk3. There was also a good variety of engine types as well, with supercharged, turbocharged & NA owners all happily sharing their experiences & ideas. A couple of drivers even showed off their drifting skills on a particularly frosty patch of carpark biggrin

We all ended up going to McDonald's for brekky & a brew, & it was gone 1pm by the time everyone had headed home.

We've got a mega drive-out planned around N.Wales in the Springtime driving, but until then this meet will continue on the first Sunday of each month, for local enthusiasts to enjoy breakfast, a brew & a chat about 5's.

Here's a few pics that I snapped of today's meet.
