This..

I mean, basically letting a complete amateur compete in Formula Renault? And a prize worth £200,000? And all for £99!

Now i thought this might be a bit of fun (and im under no illusions i could win) but is this for real does anyone think?

Website seems a bit amateur-ish dosent it....

Hope its legit because I would probably give it a go.

Now read the Ts&Cs

It's £99 for a go in a kart, initially.

19 out of 20 people go out in round 1, which is a basic karting event for 25 mins.

I'm fairly sure this s just really expensive go karting

I've similar ones, where essentially one of the party is a ringer in each round... they create some publicity, get the event paid for to raise sponsorship cash and surprise surprise the previous years karting champ wins.

I'm not suggesting this one is the same, I've just seen that in other events.

I've seen ones where you need to pay for each round and the total cost to lose at the final hurdle has been well into the 1000's.

you guys are probably right about it being impossible to get past the first round.

I did get an email from the organisers saying that there are no fees for the other rounds should you get through...
