Has anyone heard of a run of LP550-2 AFTER the limited edition Balboni? I was told today that this car is a non-Balboni LP550-2 :S

It has no stripe, different wheels (Cordelias?) and had no plate inside regarding Balboni.

It will be a production model as of December 2010. VERY attractive on price!

Think of it as a VBB, without the stripe or limited run.
I drove it the other week and it was very nice indeed.

I wonder what that will translate to in £sterling given their luxury tax.

I think they said it was A$150K less making it around A$400 which is about 25%. Will be interesting to see if it is as cheap over here.

I looked at that and wondered what Vicky Butler Henderson would look like without a stripe, then wondered why that didn't make sense.

Is it:
VBB without the stripe
or
VBH doing a strip

As much as VBH doing a strip could be good....it was the former I meant ...lol
Both could be a handful if abused I reckon :-)

Thanks for the e-mail re this earlier Pete.

I mooted this idea a while ago on here as a retro fit to a standard 4WD Gallardo.

Loving the fact they are having it as an entry level model.

It's now No.1 in my achievable Supercar slot smile

That's good news!

It says on the Oz TG that it's flappy paddles but if they've gone the whole hog as standard, brilliant!

£140K OTR with a REAL GEARBOX.

Or £149K with the one everybody orders.

No offence intended!
