I usually find weekend shows are MUCH better on the Sunday. Anytime I've been on a Saturday there's been no b*st*rd there!
Billing shows used to be good but I haven't been for a while.
Going to the festival of speed at Goodwood on a Saturday though as the Sat's still supposed to be good.

Billing this year is the maiden event of the AACI after Harry Tune and the AAC UK went their separate ways. All the Billing shows are now AACI events. As a result of the anticipated good weather and the fact that this kicks off a new club and a new season, the turnout is expected to be a large one.
Yes, I'm a member of the AACI but have no locus standii in arranging it. All I'm saying is that it's anticipated to be a very good show, lots of traders and lots of cars to see. It may not appeal to the track racers amongst you but as the largest turnout of American cars in the UK every year, it has few equals.

[quote]If my car is on the road (should be registered on Thursday) I will be there Saturday and Sunday. In view of Nige's comments, I intend to spend Saturday sitting at the back of Steve's stand drinking his beer on the basis that I won't miss anything.

I will be delighted to see you Richard - a dry stand but I am assured that there is a bar very nearby. We can sit there like a pair of "sad gits" and toast Nigel's health!

News from Billing:
It’s all go at Billing. Loads already on site. Marquee Stage is all set up. 98 Traders booked in.
Plenty of Cars, Vans, Fifth Wheelers & RV’s already on site, many with Lighting systems that are so impressive. Dread to think how busy this site will be this weekend, Wednesday & so many here already. Great.
Got to be the place to be this weekend.
Weather forecast is excellent & plenty of Sun. Make sure you don’t miss out cause it looks as if just about everyone will be heading up to Northampton this weekend.
