Catalytic converter prices

Hey all.

Ive recently scrapped a 94 polo, but kept hold of a few bits that i think would fetch a penny on ebay etc, including the catalytic converter which includes the downpipes. What is the most cost effective way of getting rid of the cat? Anybody knows how much a scrappy would give me?

Edit: Ive just realised how badly this thread stinks of 'catalytic converter theft' but i can assure you thats not the case

you can get 40 or 50 qiud for decent cats at some scrappers I've heard. check E-bay for average prices is ya best bet
