A couple of questions re front splitters.

Am I right in thinking tha the mk2 S splitter is different from the mk1 S splitter?
If they are different, will the mk2 splitter fit a mk1?
For the front splitter to work, do you also need the S style boot spoiler?

I am looking to maximise stability for fast autobahns, but am not that keen on the rear spolier look, so will do without it if the front splitter can do part of the job on its own (as you can tell aero is not my specialist subject)

From the pics I have seen I think they are different and I prefer the look of the mk2 one, but its possible that the pic I have seen have been misleading. I havent had a close look at splitters in the flesh.

MK1 front splitter are different from MK2 winglets

MK1 support frame also required

MK2

I have seen a couple of MK1's with MK2 winglets, so they will fit.

TVR always said the boot spoiler had to be fitted as well for the 'aero to work'

Fibre-ron have the mk1 splitter, can't make my mind up on winglets or mk1 s splitter, but I did quite a lot of research but never saw that carbon affair.

the MK2 winglets don't fit straight on
you will have to drill holes through the body and adjust the front side (with extra washers or bushes)
have a look at one of my former posts.
still think the winglets look the best.
you don't have to fit the rear spoiler to make the winglets work
but knowing the tuscan (dodgy backside)the rear spoiler is always an improvement

Yes please, it would be interesting to see how you fit them. I will get a body shop to do it as I am not about to try and paint with reflex purple. The alternative would be a carbon fibre wrap on the winglets.

Yep guessed so much, did you fit to mk1, I would like to see some pictures, I guessed they didn't Change too much mki to mkii.

On the splitters, just had the front sprayed, so I was going to go black or carbon wrap, great minds and all that. RENs had a picture in an earlier post.
