I have to say a big thank you to everyone for all the information I'm getting from this site!

I really want to upgrade the dash of my chimp, going from black plastic to stainless/ali.

Now got the information I need for the stalks, buttons, heater vent finishes, ash trays etc and only just tonight the bezels surrounding the dials (speedy dials) what I now need to find out is if anyone knows where I might find the wheels? that control the temperature and direction of the air flow? You know the ones just below the fan speed switch on the left hand side of the dash? God I wish I knew the proper name for them!

Anyway, any suggestions?

Have you got a contact for the bezels (speedy dials) as I was wanting to convert mine from plastic to alloy too. Have you asked the dealer if they can get the heater wheels in alloy ? Cant be that hard to fit?

Speedy Cables in London (01992 581 600) told me to ring their Swansea operation (01639 732 213) for oil temp, speedos etc. I guess they might call the Swansea op "Speedy Dials"?

Just recieved the Levens brochue and unfortunatley they don't do the bezels or the heater control wheels!

Going to be calling Speedy Cables (speedy Dials?) in the morning. Will let you know how I fair.

Saw a lovely 'N' reg Chimp today (Braintree area)in a very dark green only 11k on the clock but has had the dash etc completely converted to ali. Gold badges, TVR air valve caps and up graded indicator side lenses oh and a superb wooden and chrome stearing wheel! It looks the muts nuts!

Only hoping mine will look as good.

Anyway onwards with the hunt.
