Serious question.....Is the 737 repairable?

And how the fk did the pilot of the 767 (?) not see the other large lump of metal prior to driving into it?

Was it driven into the other aircraft? Or was it pushed/pulled into contact by a tug driven by a fkwit?

Either way, there goes the no claims bonus biggrin

The tornado that caused this little jam destroyed one B-36 and damaged 82 others in a matter of minutes.

Not surprised with people like that driving their planes!

biggrin

Airdisaster.com says:
"Sabena Airbus A330-301 OO-SFM was being towed from a gate to a maintenance facility at Brussels' Zaventeem Airport when the driver of the TUG lost directional control on the slippery ground surface. The aircraft slid out of control and impacted Sobelair Boeing 737-329 OO-SBZ near rows 17/18, puncturing a large hole in the fuselage of the 737. Both Sabena crewmembers aboard the A330 were uninjured, and both aircraft were repaired and subsequently returned to service."

...and don't forget the 4 jet engines along side them, "6 turning, 4 burning".

Sad fact:
One of those B-36D damaged in that tornado was converted to carry a 1MW nuclear reactor in the rear bomb bay under the Aircraft Nuclear Propulsion program....yes it did fly and although the reactor was working it never reached the stage of powering the engines before it was scrapped.

Sorry, slightly off topic.

They're like the zombies of aviation, won't lie down. Forever being bailed out by the Belgian government and resurfacing with the same aircraft, same crew but a different paint job. Sabena begat SN Brussels who I think went tits up and surfaced as something similar. I lose track.
