My company has a stand booked at the Autosport International Exhibition (Pistonheads section) on 13-16 January. The product is garage storage cabinets and workbenches.

We have plenty of room to display a car to add interest to the stand and whilst I've already had an offer from a manufacturer I thought I'd throw it open to PHers to see if somebody would like to have their car on show.

Clearly I'm looking for something fairly exotic and perhaps well known on here to ensure it is of interest to fellow PHers. It could be a roadgoing or competition car.

You would have to take responsibility for delivering it to the stand on the 12th and collecting it late on Sunday afternoon with the appropriate vehicle passes provided. We might be able to get you an exhibitor's pass for the show too if you wanted to spend a little time on the stand meeting PHers.

We would keep a close eye on it and give it a polish every morning and during the day with any materials you might supply. You could perhaps put a note in the windscreen telling visitors something about the car and its history.

This is very speculative at the moment and as I say we do have an offer from a sports car manufacturer but I am keen to hear of any proposals or ideas.

Why not contact Stuart baggs. You might be able to get "the" CSL for the stand, Taht qould be quite a coup, and very funny!

Seriosuly, good luck. I;m sure there are lots of people who would happily have their vehcile on display, providing you can guarantee its looked after- nobody sitting in it, finger marks all voer it or worse etc

I have a 2002 5 series you could use.

The alloys have seen better days and the n/s foglight cover is cracked, but I guess I could get the local handwash guys to give it a once over, so long as you are happy to make sure I'm not £12 out of pocket.

PM me to check the availabilty of the car on the dates you require.

You could have the buggy, I'm not sure about polishing it though, might scrape most of the mud off if your lucky biggrin
Although, given the amount of work planned over winter, we might end up stripping the gearbox on the worksbenches hehe

Yeah, whats required? I took my car down for the PH owners car section last time. So dont mind making a trip down again for it to be on a stand. What is it you're advertising?

ETA, just read initail post again. Actually, I'm doing my garage out so might come in useful!!! You got a website link? But yes, car available if required.

Cool! I don't suppose your other car is something like an F40, McLaren, GTR or Zonda by any chance Matt? wink

Thanks Jonty. I won't put a link in here as it's probably not appropriate to do so but will send you one by email.

I want to come up with a short list of cars by the end of December so will include your kind offer of the F355.
