can anybody help with the water drains i understand they are in the rear of the car, what is the best way of trying to clear them, also where do they run out from the bottom of the car, are there some sort of drains at the front of the roof because the water seems to be just below the front speakers

many thanks if you can help

i know of the rear roof drains located just behind the seat, my mates mk3 had aproblem with them being blocked, was a bit of a faff but some good garden wire gentally pushed though seemed to do the trick although its not as easy as on a mk1 due to the drain covers getting in the way!

Front side windows near windscreen drains near door strap this could be your area.
I used a small funnel at top & warm water, all manner of rubbish came out.
I found a wooden wedge to open rear panels & one of those plastic covered springs ala net curtains worked wonders on rear drains. Again funnel & warm water bit of a poke and leaves. buds etc etc.
