Lexus is220d mirror help please

Hi all, just bought a Lexus is220d sport everything works great, love the car but the drivers mirror only moves up and down intermitantly but moves freely from side to side all the time?, i'm assuming the motor runners are sticking??? anyone know how to get into the mirror inner workings?
