Just out of interest.... i'm 6tf 3ins and just about fit in and drive the old 5 comfortably (its interesting to watch me get in and out.... i must say!!!!)...... i was just wondering if there's any one out there taller?

my dad often drives my car for me, he is 6ft 7ins and 19.5stone, he fits in just but does complain when the roof is off that he get hit by lots of flies lol

lol.... not had chance to have the roof off yet as ive only just bought the car..... still.... im lovin the whole mazda thing tho and lookin forward to goin topless!!!!!

My younger brother is 6'4 and loves passengering in mine, though he does have to slouch down a bit to keep his head out of the wind.

There has been plenty of threads about tall drivers on the various MX5 forums. (6ft 5in +)

Plenty you can do to make life easier (if you havn`t already)

Foamectomy on the seat sits you lower & further back. Smaller steering wheel & or steering wheel spacer.

Remove the footrest & armrest from the door cards for more legroom etc

Probably a few more things i`ve forgotten too.

Im 6' 3" and manage fine smile Leg is almost fully straight when the clutch is pressed.

Never done a long long journey though so not sure how that would be. Longest is about 2-3hrs.
