The NO obligation test drive
Discussion
I have recently been tyre kicking a few cars and considering a replacement for my current E60 M Sport 5 series. I have had my car for a complete trouble free 2 1/2 years and having owned a few cars that has been one of my favourites, i like the way it drives, i like the way it looks and it suits my needs of requiring a good comfortable car that suits me and family of myself, my wife and two sons. I have considered going back down the 4 X 4 avenue, ive decided i don't like Audi's, i had a fortnight in the south of france in a new E Class which is a nice car but doesn't really make me want to own one, having considered my requirements i narrowed my choice of next vehicle down to either a new 5 series or a Jaguar XF. I have had the brochures on both the XF and the new 5 series i would prefer to buy used and if i was to have a 5 series i would want a M Sport but the M Sport has just been released which means it would be another year or so until a decent deal would probably crop up on a new M Sport but i want to change the car before then. A couple of Sundays ago i popped into the local Jaguar dealership and kicked the tyres on the XF with the salesman trying to persuade me to have a test drive but i was on a time limit that day and he has rang me twice since to invite me back but i'm not changing the car until the new year and i'm not in the habit of wasting too much of peoples time by driving the car now and telling him ill be back in the new year.
Two weeks ago a local council lorry driver decided to reverse his wagon over the front of my car causing two grands worth of damage with is a pain but never the less an accident anyway the claim was processed they accepted liability and are footing the bill (or rather their insurance company is) for the repairs and the fee of the hire car. On Monday my car was collected and the hire car was dropped off i was expecting the usual Vauxhall something or another but to my pleasant surprise i have been issued with a black Jaguar XF for a fortnight, which was convenient as i was considering buying one anyway, hence the no obligation test drive. After my first week in the XF i have to say i'm starting to really understand it, the car seems like a good all round package and priced (in my opinion) very well. I like the look of it, i like the way it drives and it gets a positive reception, now ive decided i want one but i have got to choose which model to buy, i'm looking for feedback on which model you would choose, i'm open to ideas and an XFR is not out of budget, i'm not to fussed about MPG but i have been quite smitten with XF V6 3.0 diesel i'm using at the moment, any pros and cons would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Use paragraphs if you expect a reasonable response.
I gave up in line 3.
I'm glad you did.I gave up in line 3.
All I'm saying is that paragraphs were invented for a reason. To make things vaguely legible.

If you make things easy to read, you will get more, and better, responses.
