You could proably use 3" circular ducting but squish it into an oval shape.

Thanks chaps..The air filter element was for a capri 2.8i but the air filter box is different from the norm according to my ford mate..I did consider using a heat gun and moulding one from a piece of pipe in the event of not being able to find the part(might be the only solution)but thought i should ask first..just in case..Many thanks..mark

Hi

The air pipe you are talking about is not used on a TVR! The airbox is from a Capri or 2.8 Gran, the pipe from them is the same and it will not fit a TVR with out mods. All it does is bring air in from further forward in the engine compartment, so there is no need for one! clap

However if you do want one as said use 3" circular ducting but squish it into an oval shape. It's not entirely satisfactory and is on the list.

Hi peeps..Purchased a fitting from wickes 2.3/4"x2.5" heated with heat gun..Used a petrol neck filler hose from an MGBGT and some blacktac to seal it..And a little ally foil to seal rubber to plastic..All i need now is some cold air pipe from K&N and job done..Fits very firmly in place..Although it would of been easier if they had some straight 70-75mm pipe..
