The 997 will be available from launch with two models. The Carrera 2 and 2S. Both will have the wide body look of the current S model. The S comes with 355bhp and 19" Alloys and the C2 comes with 325bhp and 18" Alloys. Both cars are slightly dearer than the outgoing 996 but come with more standard equipment. First road tests will be in July and the public viewing is looking to be the Paris Show in September

any news on the new Boxster too? what about the Boxster coupe?

The facelifted Boxster is expected to be about in Spring 2004. But with I can't see that a coupe version will be released at that sort of time due to the coinciding release of further 997 models. But what Ive heard from Stuttgart is that nothing radical is planned for the Boxster but it will be moving back towards the design of the original concept car.
