Hi guys
My Saxo hasn't been started for about a month, and i started it today to prepare it for sale tomorrow and it has been billowing out white smoke for about 5 minutes, it didn't smoke at first until i revved it and now its like an iron!
Any idea why? Could a seal have gone? Coolant is fine!

But from googling, i don't think my car has one
I'm voting condensation and don't worry about it.

I suspect it's condensation too.
RE: Header tank, I googled it for you. Looks like it's built on to the left side of the Radiator (Yellowy tranluscent plastic resevoir on side of radiator. Looks like it has a Black Plastic Cap).
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES open it when car is warm/hot or it could chuck high pressured scalding hot water over you which will take your skin off. Just be careful

Mate, fear not, I used to get loads of condensation steam from my VTR when I first fired it up. Used to last up to 10 miles or so driving. So sounds fairly normal.
Check under you oil cap (when engine is turned off) for any White/creamy mayonaise type substance and report back. I'm not insulting your intelegence when I ask if you know where your oil cap is, but if you don't, black cap on the top of the engine
HTH
Tim.

That really is some stunning work there.
We do work for major manufacturers.
Very in depth technical visualisations.
Anyway, I got one of my colleagues a cheap runabout as his car went kaput.
On asking him a couple of weeks later how the car was going, he said "yeah, great I'm realy pleased with it - but is there a quicker way to put the oil in?".
I said, "erm, what do you mean?" (and Im NOT making this up!).
He replied, "...well the hole for the dip-stick is only small and it takes ages to top it up!
100% true. How we laughed. LMAO!
