Great day thanks to Graig and the gang.
Had one of my most surreal moments to; 3/4 of the way down the runway at 180mph+ unable to see
anything in the fog until the timing gear loomed into view 100 metres in front.
And the laugh of the day has to be Vixby pulling his nob off hehehehe

Mark.

Which Bolton? Bearing in mind The Real Bolton allowed me the honour of using his moniker for the day.

Ps:

Vmax fun: 7.1mpg
Waft home at 70: 30mpg

Well after all the trials of the day we finally got it bodged together at about 2.30, and managed a couple of runs. Thanks must go to all that helped with my Knob problems today.

Had a great time though, thanks to Craig and the team.

Any time bud, you know I'm always there for helping out with knobs.

Thanks to Craig and the team... and Neil for the "Bruntingthorpe Taxi" M5 sideways experience smile

My best was a GPS'd 161 running into the limiter, or "168" as the right hand timing beam claimed. I'll try & post some video when it's all processed.

Just got back, what an epic day, probably the best Vmax i've attended.
Combination of the Cars/Drivers that attended, meeting up with old friends
and making many new ones as well.

Hats off to Craig and his crew for the orginisation, flawless as ever.

Thanks to DeR for letting me abuse his 966TT as usual, and his reaction to
finally breaking the double ton with the stunning 201mph run will live with me for
a long time.

Watching Jez's 206mph run from inside Sophies 996TIP was stunning as well, it's
been a long time coming but you finally bagged it today mate.

Thanks to David Yu for giving me a ride in Godzilla, what a car the launch was unbelievable!
It's everytrhing I thought it would be and more, it genuinely raises the bar.

Neil Bolton for showing me once again (if I actually needed telling!) that an e39 //M5 is the greatest
saloon car ever made..

Also my thoughts go out to Chuckles for providing endless hilarity after pulling his knob off in the Porker!!!

Texted him earlier to see how the day was going and got quite an excitable reply!

Brilliant stuff Der.

Did he end up the fastest?

DeR managed an epic 201mph with me on board, but Jez managed 206mph in his Twin Turbo Monaro!!

You were sorely missed. It would have been THE best picture of the year with two light blue MFunfs drifting ballet like round the bottom corner.
