Brilliance - or what?

I spotted a couple of Brilliance cars on a recent trip to Sharm El Sheikh.
They were sitting at a BMW dealer and amongst all the cheap Korean, Malaysian and the like cars, they looked remarkably smart and stylish.
I think they're actually a Chinese (People's Republic) make, but I'm not 100% sure. It's pretty rare for me to encounter any brand I'd never even heard of.
There were two models - The Galena a little smaller than the other (which I've forgotten the name of).
There's a smart looking coupe (looks a bit BMW 3 serie-ish and there's some tie in I think), but I've only seen photos of that on the web.
Anyone know anything about them and if they're likely to sweep into European markets anytime soon?
