Just totted up what I need to do on our newly acquired Cerb over the Xmas break, it's quite a long list!!

- Replace throttle pots and setup
- Replace lambdas
- Full engine service including tappets
- Refresh gearbox and diff oil
- Replace intake pipes
- Replace or repair airboxes and base plates
- Repair ribbon cable
- Repair broken bonnet hinge
- Generaly tidy engine bay, replace any damaged loom connectors/corroded terminals
- Make hot fan work
- Regas aircon
- Swap one headlight reflector (corroded)
- Fit HIDs
- Replace/make work Stereo (currently have one rear speaker)
- Persuade it to use all 8 cylinders if at all possible (hopefully above bits will solve that!)

Oh well at least it'll keep me entertained over the festive season!!

Sounds a lot like my job list! lol

You might find that once you've got the TPs working correctly, you'll get the lambdas come back to you anyway.

Oh for a nice simple job to do over Xmas. Like fitting the new suspension bushes all round that I did last year.

This year was going to be finally getting rid of the hessian roof lining and a few other cosmetic bits.

Instead I need to convert several boxes of nice clean components back into an engine smile

Fuel lines is a good shout, added to the list wink

Coils and HT's are pretty recent and test okay so I'm fairly sure they're in good working order. The lack of cyls at WOT feels exactly like a duff pot to be honest and with the meter on the right bank pot it shows a very noisey sweep between min and max with a lot of jittering. Adaptions can best be described as "random" LOL

I reckon it's about 4 days work all in assuming the cam to bucket clearances measure up okay and don't need reshimming.

There's a short intake kit on the way and I think I've sourced a replacement airbox for the knackered right hand bank box so things are getting there. The fab shop are making some new air box brackets as well in the dead time before Xmas and new year and I plan to get the bay covers/beauty panels over to the body shop for paint (the rest of it is pretty good but the trim panels are shot).

Have also added relief spring to the list, pressures aren't bad at 65 cold, 45 hot running, 30 hot idle but obviously never a bad thing to change it as a precaution.

Add an alternator rebuild to the list as well as that stopped charging today.
