Currently the Clark household has:

Sony KDL32W4000 TV which is connected to:
Sony DA2400ES receiver which has PS3 (BluRay/Games), Sky+ HD, Wii and occasionally a PC hooked up. Sound is output to a Q Acoustic 5.1 speaker system.

The Sony TV was purchased when I had a much smaller house, now I have a house with a bigger front room biggrin

All TV watching is done via the Sky box (mainly in HD) as ordinary TV signals from the Crystal Palace transmitter are not too clever where I am (had a professional check the aerial position and cable).

We sit about 8' from the TV.

TBH 3D doesn't interest me right now.

I like the Sony KDL-40HX703 and it scores well in What HiFi testing, but I'm 100% sure someone will tell me that there is a Panasonic that will better it.

All suggestions gratefully received read

Cheers

Mike

Just bought a Pan 42g20 and it's fantastic

As far as I could make out at the time the only difference between the G and V was 10w of sound

Using all of the features on it and couldn't be happier at just over £600

To be fair to the V there are more features then that, deeper blacks for example.

Well a bit late I know, was about to get the P42V20B and I've discoverered it's SILVER I know, I should have looked, but I had ASSUMED that the "B" meant it'd be black as is normally the case with such things. The P42G20B is black so why isn't the P42V20B.... makes no sence to me (but what do I know)

Now I've got an issue as all the Hi-Fi stuff is black and that includes the AV stand/shelf type thing

SWMBO will have to be consulted
