Cheap, Cheerful and Chinese
Discussion
One of the delights of living in Hong Kong is the interesting markets. I went out shopping yesterday at the Cat Street Market for souvenir type items to send to family as Christmas presents, Mah Jong sets, that sort of thing, and came across a selection of clocks and watches. Some of the clocks were really nice, including ones powered by ball bearings.
They also had small clocks and pocket watches. The small clocks we're all spherical - the round glass at the front acting as a magnifying glass. A lot of them were "omega" and made in paris or switzerland in 1882... Not at all fakes then.
However, they did have some nice, unlabelled pocket watches. Nothing too fancy, but with a visible movement. So I picked one up.

Cost to me - HK$100, or about £9.50. At that price, a nice, cheap little curio. Keeps good time as well.
