Unlinked for me.
Linked can give more power if remappIng. They aren't as loud. The cerb linking is at odds with the normal science of linking from what I recall.
There's some on eBay.

From what i can gather, theres more gains to be made on the 4.2 with linked de cats.

The 4.2 standard exhaust is a thinner bore to the 4.5, so the ajp doesnt breath as well. The linked de cats helps over come this restriction by sending the exhaust gases down both pipes.

But if you ve already got a high flowing exhaust system on ( like the ACT full system ) id get un linked de cats every time

This is an interesting article written on the subject:

http://2009.tvrspeedchampionship.co.uk/index.php?o...

Linking pipes is unusual on a flat plane V8 - but then so is the (unique?) 75 degree angle of the AJP, which is why it probably works well.

I have linked decats on my 4.5 which I bought from and on the advice of Joo from TCS and latterly Raceproved who wrote the above article. The additional silencing is really only relevant when on very small throttle openings. As soon as you put the hoof in the gasses go straight on.

Yes if you want more noise, no trackdays and cooler interior temps. Not sure you will see any more power though without a remap?
