fuel leak advice please
Discussion
I have smelt fuel for a week or two now and decided to put in for a service, a squeaking alternator belt was annoying me too!
New belt went on fine, but during service they found fuel leaking dripping from the underneath near the tank. They are taking the aluminium panels off tomorrow.
I’m hoping a couple of tubes need to be tightened but if the tank has ruptured what options are available for repair?

While we are on the subject, i took my tank to be modified the other day to the same guy that made my intercooler and coolant header tank, he said he could not modify the tank as it is a bomb
, he told me that the petrol gets into the aluminium over time, and even though the tank had been empty and dry for 3 weeks it could still explode. Anyway i forced his hand and made him agree to modify it, i hope he is ok, it should be ready by tommorow if he is still alive

Modified pickup and return to tank
