I am confused as to why you can see jamie's reverse lights after he has put the car in neutral.

Anyone seen it? It is quite surreal to watch. Can someone link to youtube clip.
Do not watch if drunk/under influence as it will mess with your head.
(the myth was that a 928 is more aerodynamic going backwards than forwards)

I have seen this, and I have to say whilst a good laugh, I thought that the "experiment" had no rigor at all.
The most informative bit was then they used scale models to measure the drag of the "unnamed" car forwards and backwards. That was pretty much myth busted right there.
The amount of surgery that poor car had to go through to be driven forwards but backwards made the results completely worthless, IMO. Things like the 44% increase in fuel consumption are a testament to that.
Still, entertaining telly, which is more than can be said for 99% of the guff shown.

Yeah, looking at the car after the swap, just the now "open" rear wheel arches (no liners anymore) would probably be a 5% increase in drag......The most informative bit was then they used scale models to measure the drag of the "unnamed" car forwards and backwards. I guess just putting the real car forwards then backwards in a full scale windtunnel would not have made for such an interesting show!!

Not much else on TV can make me think about random stuff in this way. And they are entertaining at the same time.
(and Kari is cute too!)
