googles changed again!!!

Mine seem to be auto searching, always had the auto complete but now its auto searching aswell

anyone else find this aswell???

Yep, mine has done it for a few days, you can turn it off just to the right of the search bar if i remember rightly.

To turn off all the crap they seem to be throwing at Google these days, save the link below as your bookmark/favourites for the site:

http://www.google.com/webhp?complete=0&hl=en

Note that you may have to clear your cache and restart your browser to get it to work as it should.

The instant search is a step too far for me too. Surely it massively increases the number of searches their system has to perform? And besides, it doesn't seem very useful; searches of partial words are almost never going to give you what you want so you have to type the whole thing anyway...
