V8V problem

Need help!

Yesterday in the carwash the battery of my v8 went completely dead all of the sudden, with no warning.
Couldn't even open the trunk.
After a jumpstart the car worked again but as soon as I stopped the engine, the battery was as dead again as before.

Anybody any ideas on what the problem could be?

Does sound like the battery's toast (do you keep it on a conditioner?)...but could it be something activated the battery cut off? Wouldn't have thought jumping it would work in this instance, but might be worth checking.

Your car is mad at you for putting it through a (presumably automatic) car wash.

Was it a Roadster?

Your battery is either dead or it got wet in the carwash which has upset it greatly. Leave it a bit to dry out (is the battery compartment damp/wet?) and/or get a new battery fitted.

Requires new battery,, Does'nt mater if the batteries wet or dry should hold a charge,, Cold weathers coming up this will only get worse the colder it gets..

It was a manual carwash
Just some guys cleaning the car by hand..
Turns out that when they installed the gps tracker alarm system somebody forgot to reattach the battery. It was hooked up again but the connection not secured so it could come loose with vibrations.
Just had bad luck it happened at the carwash.
In the aston martin service centre they secured the battery, reset the electronics and after 5 mins I was ready to go again.
