The fog lights on my car are fogged up! Its annoying the hell out me, it looks like a blind sheep dog with milky eyes.

So what do I do?
I could fix this by switching them on for an hour or so, but it would run the battery down.
I cant sit in the drive for an hour with the engine running, that's just daft.
And I cant drive down the road with them on when its not foggy, because I would have to hand in my PH membership.

This is like the buttered cat paradox.

Lightly set fire to the front of the car. The heat should dry them out. smile

Don't be daft, he'd scorch the bumper.

What he needs to do is simply break the lenses. Hey presto, water runs out!

Drill a pin hole in the casing to allow the moisture to come out. Used to be a common problem on the E36 BMW headlights.

Take the lenses off, leave them somewhere warm to dry, coat them in fog-X or similar, and put them back on?

Its a modern bmw its made out of plastic and unobtainium, and was probably grown in a big test tube not built. So its not going to come apart that easily.

If you're not willing to take them off and dry them out and won't let them heat up with the bulbs what else is there you could do?

Actually you could drive around like the typical bellends do this time of year with the fogs on and your sidelights on irrespective of the conditions. That would violate the highway code and make you a massive ballbag though.

Just take them off, dry out, then put them back in. If it keeps happening consider drilling.

Well you must at least be able to take the bulbs out. Can you point a hair dryer in through the hole where the bulb goes in?

I think they should just remove front foglights from all cars. I've never used mine, even in fog.

Make a spider really thirsty and then send it in (they can get anywhere).
