3 or 4 pairs of speakers with one amp

Looking to upgrade the sound in my parents hotel. Current setup is a good hifi amp with 2 sets speaker out. They ideally need independent volume control or 3 or 4 pairs of speakers.
What is the best route to go?

The best way to do this type of installation is to go down the 100 volt line route. This will mean a new amplifier and 100v line level speakers. You can add in-line volume controls quite easily for each zone. Speakers are wired in parallel so you do not have to worry about impedance issues.

Alternatively you can use a multichannel amp or extra HiFi amps and wire a pair of normal speakers on each channel. www.cloud.co.uk
