Went along with the PN crew to Surrey RR. Best TVR of the day (just!), at 369 (fly). So the car is healthy enough, but I just can't get out of my head that I need more....

Looks like 290lbs/ft, and it's over 250lbs/ft from 3250rpm.

As for the road figure, Dom at TVR power uses a flat 15% reduction (IIRC). That makes it 314bhp and 246.5lbs/ft on the road. (I think - I'm terrible with numbers).

Cheers! Buy now - prices have stayed at this level now for the entire time I've had it. The insurance companies view them as 'future classics', and they are even rarer than the Jag XJ220! (Had a chat with an owner of one at that RR day. 270-odd were built, IIRC).

Aye was a fun day. I was the other TVR there and managed 365, although the at the wheels figure was suprisingly low at 303 bhp. I've had the same car on a hub dyno (which are more accurate) consistently pull 360 bhp at the hubs.

The car is 500 miles off needing a 12k service and the other times it was fresh from one so I'm guessing that's where the 50+ bhp has gone??? I'll have to take it back to SRR after it's next service and see how it does then.

Dave, was good to meet you. The exhaust and rebuild certainly makes me think.... Especially if it loses that much power due to service etc.
