Wanted. Lodge to rent somewhere with snow
Discussion
Try some of the time share places they often rent out spare weeks.
For example Loch Rannoch ; I have a week in spring here and go every year and love it; and am considering doing Xmas/New Year this year. Word of warning it's in remote Scotland so if it's snowing it's going to be tricky driving.
Also take supplies , there is a local shop & pub/hotel but won't have the range your use to. Can also bag a munro by climbing Schiehallion; which is local. Can also recommend getting the train from Rannoch station to Fort William; very scenic; one of the great railway journeys.
If your more into skiing then around Aviemore might be better.

Thanks for that. I like the idea of the facilities that aren't too far away.
Having looked at the weather oop north it appears Aviemore could be quite fun as skiiing was happening this weekend..
With two teenage boys skiing etc will keep them amused.
So yes, holiday home / cottage / lodge or hotel in Aviemore required!
