700c Winter Tyres
Discussion
Currently using Gator Skins, which are starting to get a bit 'interesting'. This time last year I was using Specialized All Conditions, which I don't remember having any issues with until the snow and ice appeared. Quite a few of the road bikes at work seem to have switched to Continental Twisters, are they any good?
I use conti 4 seasons and swear by them. They are the best tyre I've used for grip in the wet. But as mentioned above, they are a tad more expensive. Another plus, they're pretty puncture proof. My first set did just over 4,000 miles with no punctures and I'm now 800 miles into my second set. Again, no punctures. HTH
