E39 528i Auto - Best Battery?
Discussion
Woke up this morning to dead car - jumped OK but have recently had 2x flat batteries when karting so probably time for a new one (looks like the original battery)
Any recommendations as to where the best place to get a battery is and whether you can get a more powerful one that will still fit?

Had the same problem with our 540 touring earlier this year, I found that the tourings (I think all & not just 540) uses the biggest (read most expensive as well ) battery. After searching around it for the best price ,it came down to length of warranty. All info subject to memory ! Cheapest was Halfords with trade card ,1 yr warranty £85 ,halfords again 3 yr.£95. In the end got one from Costco Bosch 4 yr. £95Any recommendations as to where the best place to get a battery is and whether you can get a more powerful one that will still fit?

May be worth trying these guys

I have used them for about 10 years and they have always been very helpful and much cheaper than the dealers or garages.
Not sure if delivery costs would take away any savings.
