Break their arms (both of them) then display Thief on them in Flourescent(sp??) colouring.

Let them get by with a: Two broken arms and b: Everyone keeping clear of the thieving scum..

BUT, if thieves nicked my keys like that I would place them somewhere else.

What crappy luck, poor chap, car theives should be hung drawn and quartered. In the last week around here 1 cop has been killed and 2 others badly injured all in separate incidents where car theives just rammed either them or their cars, so there seems to be only 1 word for them cs

Too right - scrotes need to be taught that taking someone elses car isn't ok. For example, chop their hands off - they won't do it again!!!!

But quick question - how did the thieves know where the keys were? Because the owner left them on display through a window!!
Just move the keys out of sight and suddenly an opportunistic thief doesn't have an opportunity. Or is that too simple?

Strange, that about leaving keys - I bet many drivers leave their keys in a hallway ready for the next day. FOOLISH! Take them upstairs, put them somewhere out of sight. OR leave them in the hallway but have your immobiliser high decibel alarm fitted IN car (not under bonnet), preferably in the roof lining about 6 inches from where said thief will be sitting and set so that it goes off the minute the keys are in the ignition. He might take your car but he will also be deaf from that point on!

Laro,
What a bummer, you must have been the envy of your mates owning a Pug at 15. Shame Mummy woke you for school before you sussed the keypad issue eh?
