Hi All,

I have talked to the German Porsche racing specialist Albert Motorsport - they supplied me a GT2 transaxle and are a very professional company. They did a design study for their own GTR, as shown above. It was intended to offer a bolt-on kit for existing cars, but they could not raise enough interest (maybe they did not market it sufficiently). I am interested, but the development cost for a one-off car would be rather prohibitive. If we could put together a number of kits (lets say 10), the cost per unit would probably be reasonable.

If there is anybody interested to join in, please let me know! (I am in no way linked to this company nor commercially involved, I just like this kit lick

Then we would be potentially 4, so far (got a reply also by email). Thats not so bad, but to make it economically viable, we would need some more.

The company Albert would also need one GTR (body or complete) to develop the kit, if nobody else volunteers I would probably give them my GTR.

I am sure that they can still alter their design study, so there would be a discussion amongst all interested parties necessary to agree on all details of the kit.

Would love to do such a project - keeps the mind busy besides the daily work stress!

Regards,

Peter

Most of the re-dos on the Ultima leave me cold. This one is really well done, of course only after you see it in person will the true impact of the car be told. All that said the one thing that I see that could use more thought would be the headlights. Other than that, stunning. Lee

Although very nice but is this not just photoshop or is there one in production. Slight downside, what exactly would you see in those mirrors?

Would also be interested to know what Ted thinks of it? Perhaps they are making notes!

I prefer what SSS has done to be honest..... its all a bit square for my liking almost clumbsy, all imo of course!

......the squaring up will likely lend itself to metallic colours much better than the standard curves...but each to their own (overgrown Exige's etc???) He-he

.......Steve's headlamp shape is a great step in the right direction though.
