Need to replace dampers with lowering springs?

Hi all, I have a 1990 Eunos Roadster which may or may not have slightly lower springs on it already (I genuinely don't know) what I do know is that one of the rears is buggered. So it's off the road for winter and a new set of springs. I was loking at these:

Am I OK to stick them on?
I have no money for coilovers so it's either these or a set of factory-spec springs.
Any advice is welcome.

Ideally yes the damper stroke will be wrong otherwise.
