Cant wait for this game to come out - it looks awesome. In anticipation - how about taking a look at some of the cars that will be included. The full car list was released on the 12th. With 1000 cars to play with should make for a very interesting game - although I am a little dissapointed that there are so many variants of the same car - rather than more individual models (for example - there are 12 variants of the Nissan 3000GT and 32 of the Skyline GTR). Perhaps this is intentional - and we will start seeing additional car addon packs in the near future.

Which cars are you excited to see in here - and are there any you are sorry to see have been overlooked?

I cant wait to give a couple of the Lambos a spin as well as the McLaren SLR (hope they got the exhaust noise right) - and the Veyron.

Dissapointed they overlooked the Lotus Elan M100.

Disappointed 800 cars are pretty much ported from GT5 and polished up a bit with no interior view, Veyron included, but then they still look good.

When you think about just how many different cars there have been in reality, I'd have hoped for some more variation in the game. I counted about 140 Nissan cars from the lists. ONE HUNDRED FORTY!

Notable missing cars such as Megane R26.R, MK2 Focus RS, Ford Puma, Any new Fiat(Panda 100hp?), etc. The point I'm making, as others have, too many paint job specials.

I would have like to see a Golf MK2 16v, it was my first car and a pretty good one at that.

I certainly agree it look as if a lot of metal has been cut-n-paste from GT4, you've only got to look at the glut of '00 to '03 year cars....

A few more Honda S2000's wouldn't go amiss ether! There's ONLY 18! and ONLY 10 covering the standard car from '99 to '06 in Japan, the EU and the US. I know the standard S2000 remained completely unchanged during its entire lifespan but we need more than 10 to cover the extra fog lamp for the EU!

The Koenigsegg must be due up for dlc, they used it in a graphics promo didn't they?

Completely forgot about that - they used the CCX in some of the early preview shots showing off the graphics - but it aint in the list.

At least the Zonda made it in.

The car list is crimminaly missing some fantatsic cars whilst offering dozens of pointless variants of some dull old runabouts.

No Porsche, Diablo, Countach, F355 Challenge, 360 Modena/CS, F430 Scud/GT, 575, F50, Zonda F, Koenigsegg, McLaren F1 LM, MC12, premium Veyron the list goes on.

I wouldn't be surprised if they are holding back some of the highly desirable cars to be DLC - i know i'd pay a small fee to get old of the 355 and F50 smile

Isnt Posche's absence down to licencing issues - Porche as a marque has never appeared in any GT game (to my knowledge).

EA own the rights to Porsche in games, but other companies(like Microsoft for Forza) have paid EA for permission to use the marque in their games. Sony could do this too but refuse to fork out the cash to EA so we are left with 10 year old RUFs instead frown
