Property advice - Frimley / Camberley area

I am looking around for some option on houses.

So far I have been looking aroung frimley, Pevensey way, Lansdowne Road. But also looked at Youlden Drive, Camberley.

Is there anything particularly wrong with those areas? Good bad school etc primary and secondary.

We are looking for at least a 4 bed preferably 5, also 2/3 reception rooms and a double garage.

I work in woking so don't want to travel to far.

Open to the floor for possible locations

I did the same move as you but into frimley green. Don't know anything about schools, sorry, as these weren't a consideration. I did look at a house near sc Johnson which had a double garage, office over garage, pool, pool house, massive kitchen breakfast room, 2 receps, study. I think it was 3 doubles plus a big loft conversion, cod easily convert to more rooms. Needed decoration but only £365k offers! Some of the roads near the schools get clogged up and can take you ages to pull out

Thanks, I only work 8 to 4 so traffic should not be a big problem. My budget is no more than 450k but can go to 500k but then I won't be able to get my weekend toy.

Penshurst rise was where this house was. Have a look along the chobham road, going towards red road. Should be easy to Woking from there and houses look like of the type and price you want. Worth looking at the frimley green end too. All the essentials are there pubs, nursery, boots, shell, corner shop, tyre shop, bakery, post office and drive to Woking via pirbright bends via brookwood. Not sure about the double garage but you should easily find suitae properties within your budget. There are a few secluded roads around tucked behind trees etc. Worth driving round for a look. I don't have any reason to go those ways but always think it would be nice to live.

The first two are in Paddock Hill estate. Nice estate and area, a few of our friends live there. You pay a bit more for being in the school catchment area (lots of schools close together here). The last road is prob not in the same catchment area for schools, don't know it that well but its prob fine. Avoid the Old Dean estate area otherwise you can't really go wrong.

Wil be having a drive around this weekend. But there is one thing that is on the wish list, but i dont think i will be able to get.. And that is a small paddock for 2 horses.

Just need to sell my house now. Then the hassle starts with agents and solicitors

There are some nice houses in fleet, I live in elvetham Heath and there are several houses that meet your requirements, there is a pub, church and supermarket on location and is right round the corner from a few different schools and the town shopping centre, and it's not too far from Woking either.

Paddock hill estate is ok, some horrible people that live there, but they tend not to st on their own doorstep.
Avoid the James Road estate off the frimley road and most of the old dean.

Really nice areas are the Cheylsmoor estate up near pine ridge golf club and just off the red road opposite the mod land

Might be worth looking at The Hatches in Frimley Green as there are some nice houses down there. Schools are local, and all seem to be fairly good. Kings International College doesn't seem to have the best reputation of all, but Tomlinscote/Collingwood are both good.

The back end of Pevensey Way and Pevensey Gardens are nice and a number of people I went to Tomlinscote with have parents who still live there and have done for many years.

There are also some nice houses located on and off of Alphington Avenue which is very close to Tomlinscote and Ravenscote (middle school), as well as properties in your budget further towards Heatherside. It may be worth checking Heatherside out, particularly as you get closer to Red Road and The Maultway. Nice easy drive to Woking, close to Chobham and Lightwater and good links to the M3 and M25 if/when you need them.
