My other half's Mini failed it's test today (first mot) on a damaged headlight. She was quoted £353.00 to replace it.
How does this sound price wise?. Is it a job I could do myself without to much grief?. Any advice where to buy one from.
Update on this I've just looked at the headlight and I can't see a thing wrong with it. The report says headlight fell apart and cant be adjusted!. How do adjust these things so I can try it myself.

Cheers

Steve

Find it hard to believe that they fall apart, they have an adjustment screw on the rear and are held in with 3 nuts. Never heard of one falling apart, did the people you took it to know what they where looking for? is it xenon or halogen? All easy to fix or fit. I'd just get one off ebay.

I have took many of the lights apart to paint the insides, can't think what has fell apart?

Presume your talking about the 2000 - 2006 model with the lights in the bonnet?
