Hi all
My 32 inch TV has just packed in. I've been looking at new TVs. Not really that bothered about HD to be honest as Im not a great film watcher. I came across this from Play.com

http://www.play.com/Electronics/Electronics/-/3095...

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with one or know how good LG plasmas are?

Mant thanks

James.

The Koreans will never worry the Japs on quality and LG is the superior of the two major Korean brands.

Is the LG 60Pk250 worth getting? They seem to have reviews that they offer great quality for the size and price but would be grateful for any advice

Good value, but only 2 HDMI inputs, and God knows what other compromises to the electronics that drive the panel.
For similar money, I'd "make do" with a 50" Panasonic G20 or put the extra into the VT20.
Never mind if you don't think the 3D (need a 3D BR player though) is much cop - the pixels in the VT20 are the current state of the art design, which improves 2D performance.

Thanks

We have a 42 Pano G20 (I think that it the one - was highly rated) and the picture is great.

There seem to be some good deals on the 50inch Pano S10 (Full HD plasma) at about the £750 mark.

I had a look at 3D and I was not too impressed so will wait for a bit on 3D.

That being said, that Phillips 21:9 looks incredible but apparently none are being sold. Local place to me said that they had sold a lot of £5000+ screens but not a single 21:9 screen.
