Shakey Springspeed Date

just a moan really, as the wifes not listening,

checking there dates for 2011 and noticed they have moved Spring-Speed back to the middle of May, i understand that the two bank holidays were back to back but now means ive got (thanks to HRH) 2 spare bank holidays (unpaid) then have to take time off (again unpaid) mid may for the new date,
and still have back to back race wkends as were at Big Bang the wkend before, as are many other classes (sumo, street elim, jnr's etc)

just a waste of a bank holiday wkend

being self-employed sucks

Seems very odd? Like having the Open Sports Nationals a week before the bank holiday a year or so ago?

If the Springspeeds had been kept on the first May Bank holiday it would have meant two National events four days apart, The Thnderball finishing on the Monday and qualifying starting for the Springspeeds four days later on the following Saturday.

I blame moveable feasts as in Easter - why they just can't put it at the end of March /beginning of April and leave it there only he above knows...

same as Big Bang a week before,

so changing the date still effects 9 classes, which unfortunatly often means low entrys for SCR, due to people choosing BB or breakages.

Which is exactly the same as doing easter then shakey, haha so im going round in circles

just means i have to decide to do msa championship round at SCC or ESC round at pod, hmm
